What method should I use to give online – bank account or credit card/debit card?
The simplest answer to this question is whichever method makes giving easiest for you. We realize that different methods work better for different people, so we offer many ways to give.
If you have no preference, we suggest setting up a recurring gift from your checking or savings account. Giving online with a checking or savings account minimizes CAC’s administrative fees and maximizes the ministry impact of your donation.
What fund should I give to?
The answer starts with a prayerful conversation with God about where He is leading you to direct your gift. Additionally, please consider that a large portion of CAC’s overall expenses are funded by our Operating and Missions Funds. People often ask, “Where is my gift most needed?” The Operating and Missions Funds are vital to the overall mission of CAC.
Why should I create an online giving account?
Creating an online giving account unlocks the ability to view your giving history and securely save preferred payment methods. Additionally, you must create an account to enjoy the ease of scheduled recurring giving. However, if you feel that creating an account isn’t the best choice for you, you can use the “Give as Guest” option at any time.
Is it safe to give online?
Yes. We have partnered with ACS Technologies and Vanco Payment Solutions to facilitate online giving. Your confidential information is not maintained by CAC but is stored at Vanco Payment Solutions. Vanco Payment Solutions is a Level 1 PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliant Service Provider.
Can I change my scheduled gift after it is setup? Absolutely – you can change it anytime up until the time the scheduled gift occurs. Just login to your account and select “Manage Scheduled Giving” under “My Giving Summary”.
What banking information will I need to set up my online giving account?
If giving from your checking/savings account, you will need your bank's nine digit routing transit number (RTN) and your account number. If using a debit or credit card, you will need to have the card available as you set up the account.
How will I know my contribution was received?
You will receive an e-mail acknowledging your gift.
Can I view my giving history online?
Yes, you can view your current and prior year gifts. You can print your giving history, but this will not be your official year-end tax statement. Online gifts may take several business days to process before appearing on your giving history.
Will I still receive a year end statement from the church? Yes, you will receive a statement of your gifts. This statement will be your official tax statement.
